- Plum Tomatoes - washed and dried
- Boil them in water until the skin cracks
- Cut into four pieces - mash with hands. Add salt to taste
- Sterlize the jars and tops
- Add tomatoes to the jar. 3/4 way - add few basil leaves
- Put the jarred tomatoes in pot. Cover with water so that it is 2 inches about the top.
- Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium. Boil for 45 minutes. Let is cook in the pot - overnight.
