Italian Grandma Makes Canned Peeled Tomatoes

  1. Plum Tomatoes - washed and dried
  2. Boil them in water until the skin cracks
  3. Cut into four pieces - mash with hands. Add salt to taste
  4. Sterlize the jars and tops
  5. Add tomatoes to the jar. 3/4 way - add few basil leaves
  6. Put the jarred tomatoes in pot. Cover with water so that it is 2 inches about the top.
  7. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium. Boil for 45 minutes. Let is cook in the pot - overnight.
